Tom Workman Resigns
Details:

Tom Workman has resigned his position as Director of Government Relations for ABATE of Minnesota to pursue other opportunities. Tom has been a tremendous asset to the motorcyclists of Minnesota for many years. In addition to being a skilled lobbyist he has been a great teacher to our legislative team and I truly wish him all the best in the future. If anyone would like to personally thank Mr. Workman, send an email to: tommywork@mchsi.com

Our legislative team will continue to move forward in the ABATE of Minnesota tradition of maintaining and improving the rights and safety of all Minnesota motorcyclists. We have an agreement with a well respected lobbying firm to help us if and when the need arises. We have a great Bikerday at the Capitol planned for February 24, 2010 and expect 500 to 700 biker/lobbyists to be in attendance. We are continuing to schedule meetings with our 8 US Representatives and 2 US Senators as their busy calendars allow and are in ongoing discussions with state House and Senate leaders to lay the groundwork for a successful 2010 legislative session.

If you have specific legislative questions please call or email Todd Riba, ABATE of Minnesota Legislative Director, at 952-239-0929 or toddriba@comcast.net And feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Please help maintain your freedoms by attending Bikerday and supporting Motorcycle PAC of Minnesota.
