STATE REPORT: 

•  Publications Committee – forms
• PAC needs money.  Thanks to FFR for their great support in the past.  There are 22 organizations out there that haven’t donated anything.
• ABATE U – February 13, 2011 – Pancake Breakfast fund raiser in St. Paul @ Diamond’s – see Ray for more information if you would like to go.
• CPR teacher needed – contact Noma
• Heart of Lakes Fund Raiser is March 19 – contact Ray for location if you would like to attend.
• BOD is January 15th – Mankato, MN

VICE PRESIDENT REPORT:

• Biker Day at the Capital – February 2, 2011:  Ernie made a motion to donate $500.00 for the bus ride to Biker Day at the Capital and not pass the hat.  Bob 2nd the motion.  Motion Carried.   Go to the ABATE website and register online.
• State Rally 2010 rockers and patches will be available at the January BOD and Gary will have them in time for the FFR January meeting.
• Ritchie made a motion to give away 4 of our Rally tickets as incentive for attendance at Biker Day at the Capital.   The motion was 2nd by Glenn.  Motion Carried. 

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Public Relations/Historian (Howie/Santa):  Merry Christmas! 
Education & Training (Bob Jespersen):  15 hour Safety Training will be offered – Bob will bring dates to the January meeting.
Gambling (Ray Stach):  The Stimulus Raffle (FFR 2011 Bike Show) is now in Kim’s hands.  Get your State Raffle tickets from Ray.
Legislative Chair (Bob Timm): MRF – reports that the Safety Board is asking all States that don’t already have a mandatory helmet law to adopt one!  WRITE YOUR SENATORS!!!
Dial-a-Ride (John Nelson):  season done- no report
Buddy Bears (LeAnne Chisholm/Mary Wessel):  5 bears delivered to the Parkers Prairie Fire and Rescue.  If you know of a need for Buddy Bears, please contact LeAnne.
Membership & Retention:  (Murf):   Postcards were mailed out – push those memberships please.
Chapter Products:  (Patty Froemming & Beth Engstrom):  Orders are in – pick them up.  We have dropped Cowing Robard and have taken our business to Brandon, MN.
Website:  (Glenn Cox):  Glenn is working on getting a link up to ABATE.  Chapter challenge for bus donations (Biker Day at the Capital).  PLEASE REGISTER YOUR MOTORCYCLE IN THE FFR BIKE SHOW!
Ride Captain (Sgt/Arms – Jeff Beattie):  no report…. J
Chapter Fund Raisers: (Mike Miller, Doc, Donna Ogaard, Kris Dronen, Bob Timm)- all vendor spots are sold out…posters are ready…Sturgis camping passes to give away…FFR member challenge to get your personal motorcycles into the show…Applause to Bob for working so hard on new donations and poster work…everybody please sign up and put in some work time….if you have silent auction items to donate, you can bring them to Hedine Jewelry.

NEW BUSINESS
! Robert made a motion to donate $250.00 to ABATE U and is challenging other Chapters to do the same.  Jo Jo 2nd – Motion Carried.
! Speed Rally: February 5, 2011 – on Lake Miltona – sponsored by Leaf Valley Sportsmen – Shirley made a motion to donate $75.00 for the purchase of trophies in the motorcycle class.  Jim 2nd – Motion Carried.
! Awake the Lakes Habitat for Humanity Ride will be run out of the VFW in 2011.    Don made a motion that FFR provide Road Guard again and have our monthly meeting at the VFW following the ride.  Mary 2nd – Motion Carried
! Heartland Steam – 5 State area rally will be held in Hutchinson, MN on Mar. 27, 2011 and they would like us to have a table set up….more on this at a later date.
