Shirley nominated Joni Schmitt and Joe nominated Beth Lint – both accepted the nomination. Shirley made a motion that nominations cease and seconded by Mickey. Vote taken – Joni Schmitt voted in as new Secretary
Chris nominated Roxanne Hedine and Mary nominated Gary Goracke – both accepted the nomination. Shirley made a motion that nominations cease and seconded by Mickey. Vote taken – Roxanne Hedine voted in as new Treasurer.

State report/ Ray Stach:
- Reported on BOD – MRF had a fantastic attendance. – thank you to all the volunteers – there are 600 new members.
- Write your legislator (there is a list of them in the “road noise”)
vice President report/Chris Thomas:
- Freedom First Riders were given an award plaque for their participation at the State Rally (Litchfield).
- Chris has the BOD report – anyone wanting to read it contact Chris
- Chris has been working on a “Stuff the Bus” campaign with Heart of Lakes Club – On February 24, 2010 (Wednesday) take the day off from work and go to the State Capital to rally for your helmet rights.
PUBLIC RELATIONS & HISTORIAN/HOWIE: Howie (and the rest of us) would like to acknowledge a “good job” on the FFR Website.
WEB MASTER/GLENN COX: Please go the website and sign up – you will get emails on upcoming events. If you would like your own page within the site, please contact Glenn. If you have something you want on the website, contact Glenn, by email, and he will send you the link to do this. If you have a business and want your logo and/or web link put on the FFR site, contact Glenn (or if you work for someone who wants to utilize this avenue for advertising). There will be a donation/fee for that privilege please.

PRODUCTS/KEN MURPHY: Murph presented the new design for clothing. You can see him for a purchase form or download the form from FFR website (it is in a PDF format). The forms also have the current prices on them. The form can be dropped off at Cowing-Robard for pre-order.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Education/Mary: No Report
Gambling/Ray: There are tickets available for the ABATE U Raffle. For each ticket sold, the club will get a rebate of 0.50. ABATE U is scheduled for April 17 and tickets need to be sold and turned in by April 10th. Ray is the keeper of the tickets, money and list of who he gave them to…please see him to receive tickets. They are $100.00 per ticket and 5 bikes to be raffled off.

Dial-A-Ride/John: officially done for the season
Bike Show/Raffle: This will be held at the Carlos Creek Winery. We are going to do cash raffle. We will sell 1000 tickets @ $5.00 each.
The cost of the permit, which the State will renew every year, is $150.00.
MOTION: Robert made a motion to pay the Permit Fee out of FFR Gambling Fund.

OLD BUSINESS
- Due to Beth being out of town we need a new place to hold the November meeting. MOTION: Chris made a motion that we have the December meeting and Christmas party at the Hewitt Stampede. SECOND: Sandy MOTION CARRIED
- December Meeting and Christmas Party (at Miltona): Beth L. will head up a committee to get things done for this event. If you’re willing to help her before being asked, please give her a call.
- Business Cards from State Products: MOTION: Joe made a motion to purchase 1000 business cards (as talked about with ABATE logo on them) for $100.00 SECOND: Bob MOTION CARRIED WITH ONE OPPOSED
NEW BUSINESS
- Lynn Madsen requested volunteer help, for her daughter, who’s husband in Iraq. The request is for winterization of their house and to fix a window. Chris will coordinate this – please contact him for a date and time.
- Bob commented that ditch clean day was mediocre for turn out – let’s do better next time.
- Chris will pass the hat to help pay for the band tonight.
- Edgar expressed his opinion and would like to see the group remain cohesive and work together to make things happen. He also said M.O.M. was awesome and others should think about attending next year. Again, write your Legislature and stuff that bus.
- State Membership/Mickey: There will be a contest for the signing up of new members; the new member must have been expired for 2 years to be included in the contest. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get them to re-join it just doesn’t count for the prize. The new tri-folds won’t have a temporary membership.
JESSE, LEAF VALLEY MERCHANTILE, WAS BROUGHT IN FOR A ROUND OF APPLAUSE! Thanks to him, we didn’t have to go get stuck in Chris’ yard.
