Hello FREEDOM FIRST RIDERS!!! HAPPY B-DAY FREEDOM FIRST RIDERS!!!!!! By the time you all read this the Freedom First Riders will have celebrated their 1st Birthday. July 2007 the B.O.D. voted the Freedom First Riders in as the 26th Chapter of ABATE MN. July 2008 the Freedom First Riders are 260+ members strong and growing!! Lets all give each other a well deserved pat on the back for growing this Chapter to what it is today. We have so much potential as a New Chapter. I believe the FREEDOM FIRST RIDERS are a force to be reckoned with. “GROW FREEDOM FIRST RIDERS” We sure have had some nice riding weather. I myself have been out and about quite a bit lately enjoying the freedoms of the ride. Donna and I had a great time at the Osakis parade. The Osakis crowd seemed very appreciative of our Chapters presence in their parade. Thank you to all the Freedom First Riders who participated. Donna and I are planning to go to Sturgis this year. We will be staying in Deadwood, (Santa likes Deadwood and apple pie)?. Now that I think of it, you may be reading this newsletter as I enjoy a beverage and some nice scenery in downtown Deadwood or maybe Full Throttle Saloon, so many choices. I’ll be sure to take a few pictures to share with you all. I guess what I really want to say is life is short and the riding season is even shorter so you need to do yourself a favor, get out, live a lot, enjoy life as you Freedom First Riders know how to do. Hey, maybe along the way you can sign up a few more lucky Freedom First Riders, you will be improving their quality of life, lol. I am going to keep this newsletter short this month as I have to practice what I preach and go for a ride with some friends and then enjoy my son Danny’s baseball game. I watched him hit a Grand Slam Home Run over center field at his last game, GO ROCK HOUNDS!!!! It was a Proud parent moment. YOU ARE ALL ALIVE BUT ARE YOU REALLY LIVING RIDE SAFE AND RIDE FREE AND REMEMBER “EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED” SANTA

*I have been on both of these rides several times in the past and they were both excellent and are rides for great causes.

While I am on the subject of good causes and rides, I would like to take this moment to thank the Freedom First Riders who helped out in the road clean up in Miltona, we cleaned up a lot of trash, pictures at our web site.

I would also like to thank all the Freedom First Riders who participated in the Habitat for Humanity Run out of Alexandria. We had a nice run around the Lakes and we signed up a few more Freedom first Riders.

I would also like to thank the Patriot Guard Riders and Free First Riders who should their respect to our military at the Memorial Day Parade Run in Alexandria MN, it was a very somber and proud moment for me personally. Next year I would like to see a lot more Bikers (A lot more Freedom First Riders) participate in this Memorial Parade. You will feel appreciated and proud.

Lastly I would like to thank all of Chapter members who rode in the 2nd annual Motorcycle Rally for Forada Firemen’s Relief Association. We had a great time, 3 stops, great company, excellent pork chop feed and who would have guessed GREAT WEATHER!! Santa even got a little sun burned, ouch, nothing a little apple pie couldn’t cure, lol.

Now as you all know these mentioned rides are just a few of the many we are offered this riding season, get out and ride Freedom First Riders. Get our Chapter name out there and sign a few more future Freedom First Riders. We are riding strong and getting stronger with each ride.
